Patients who qualify for Medicare Reimbursement may avail of Diabetic Shoes and other Foot Care supplies specially made for diabetics. Eligibility for the Medicare Reimbursement program is detailed below:

  • Patient must have diabetes mellitus.
  • Patient must exhibit one or more of these factors:
    • Foot deformity
    • History of pre-ulcerative callus
    • History of previous foot ulceration
    • Partial or complete foot amputation
    • Peripheral neuropathy with evidence of callus formation
    • Poor circulation
  • Patient must be under the treatment of a physician for diabetes through a comprehensive care plan that includes the use of therapeutic footwear.
